Nestled in Danków, a small village 70 km from Warsaw, the Wolski Foundation occupies the historic Wolski family homestead. For
four generations the homestead housed the family’s scientific innovations, including the development of new rye and wheat varieties through natural genetics.

The Wolski project was interrupted by World War II when the property was confiscated under the communist regime that devastated Poland. After the regime’s collapse in 1989, the family reclaimed the grounds and gradually restored them to their former character.

Today, under the vision of Xawery Wolski, the site has been transformed into a dynamic art foundation: a sculpture park, galleries spanning the artist’s different periods, studios, and
a vibrant residency for visiting artists.

The Wolski Foundation is dedicated to preserving Xawery Wolski’s four decades of artistic legacy while offering a space for creative and philosophical exchange for emerging artists and creatives.
